trademark_search
Search public USPTO and CIPO trademark registers before suggesting a brand, product, company, or feature name. Returns exact, phonetic, and near matches with owner, status, Nice classes, filing date, and direct records. Use it when asked whether a name is trademarked or for a preliminary conflict check. EUIPO is explicitly unavailable without its documented API credentials; limited result pages are incomplete. Never call a name clear or safe: results are not legal advice and unavailable registers remain explicit.
