Read back the original Sanity draft with current creator, CMS, source and connection permissions. Unknown remains a hold; never retries a write or claims publication.

sanity_prepare_draft

Prepare only an existing qualified publisher CMS draft in an explicitly installed Sanity destination. Stable operationId, exact qualification and CMS revision required. Current CMS and scoped vault access apply. Replays only read the original remote ID. Never publishes, approves or sends. No tokens in arguments.
